First time having nando's in the UK and was not disappointed Got a full platter with chips, mash and corn All the sides were great and the chicken was fall apart tender.

Food was standard Nando's quality, so it was great. What really set them apart was the management. Everyone was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. The manager even apologized for a 10-minute wait for our food, despite us coming in expecting a much longer wait. However, a point of improvement would be to ensure cutlery is cleaned properly- as we noticed quite a few of the cutlery were not. While we did find clean ones to use, it didn't inspire confidence that in the overall hygiene.

Emma (I assume the manager) was very kind. I didn't order anything and didn't plan to as I was there to accompany a couple of friends. However, she gave me a free side of chips because she knew I was the only one not having anything. She's a lovely person and my friends can attest to it as well from previous visits!
It’s a great place for friends to meet. We had sharing platters. There are 15 wings with two large or four regular sides. I recommend that everyone should choose corn on the cob. It is served with butter. So delicious! And you can choose your own level of spiciness. Their legendary PERi-PERi is made with African Bird’s Eye Chillies, a splash of lemon, and a kick of garlic.”
The restaurant is upstairs, two steps need maintenance. A big lamp hugging from the ceiling is very beautiful but a bit broken now. I wonder about the cleanliness of the restaurant on my way up... Very friendly welcome and service, nice chicken and big portions. It wasn't very busy and it was very comfortable and agradable to be there. Nice views from the big window by the tables to Newcastle and the square. Nothing to complain, just a bit more love to get this five stars.
